Momentum
You're not white-knuckling anymore. So why does it still feel like something's missing?
You did the hard part. You stopped.
Now it's time to build the life that you don't need an escape from.
You stopped drinking, or you've changed your relationship with alcohol enough that it's no longer your automatic go-to.
You're proud of yourself. You should be.
Now you want the version of you that's just... good. Peaceful without trying so hard. Present without checking out. Grateful without forcing it.
You want to feel like the woman God's been shaping you to become all along.
But here's the thing.
Life on the other side hasn't been quite what you expected.
You still find yourself missing alcohol sometimes, and can't quite put your finger on why. All the things that made you want to drink in the first place are still there... you just don't have alcohol to escape them now and again.
On paper, your life looks great. You're just not enjoying the day to day. You feel guilty that you're not enjoying your marriage or your kids as much as you feel you "should," and some days you catch yourself yearning for those small escapes alcohol used to give you.
You're still learning how to relax and be yourself without it. Still learning how to process everything that comes up once you let it go. And socially, you're still finding your place... with old friends, and new.
You're in the in-between. The liminal space between letting go of alcohol and becoming the person you feel God created you to be.
Here's what happens if you keep white-knuckling your way through the in-between.
You stay alcohol-free, but tired. Managing your life instead of living it.
You keep saying yes to things you resent, because saying no still feels like letting someone down.
You keep mistaking guilt for selflessness, and wonder why the people you love leave you more drained instead of filling your cup.
Sneaky thoughts about alcohol keep popping up, and you just don't feel fully free yet.
Freedom from alcohol was the doorway. It was never meant to be the whole house. Now it's time to build the life you don't need to escape from.
You're the hero — I'm the guide.
There is nothing wrong. This is normal.
Freedom from alcohol is a journey. Once alcohol is out of the way — or at least smaller — it opens the door to everything else.
I've been there too. Even after I stopped drinking, with all the beautiful, amazing gifts that came with it, I still struggled. Anger. Irritability. Saying yes to too much out of guilt. I had to learn how to regulate my emotions, set real boundaries, practice real self-care, and keep renewing my mind.
I've walked this path myself, and I've walked hundreds of women through it since. What I've learned is that the season right after the drinking stops is its own season, with its own work. It's not about learning another new tool. It's about becoming someone who doesn't need the old ones anymore.
I'm not here to hand you more content and send you on your way. I'm here to walk alongside you as you actually build this next chapter.
In Momentum, we do the deeper work.
We rewire the old thoughts and beliefs about ourselves that keep us stuck, overcommitting and never resting — whether that's "I'm not enough," "I don't belong," "I don't matter," "I'm on my own," or whatever quiet belief has been running underneath.
We build healthy micro-habits that regulate your nervous system and help you live from a grounded place.
And we build on spiritual disciplines that draw you near to God — the true vine, and the source of real nourishment and identity.
What success looks like
This is the next layer. Not more alcohol-freedom... more of you.
Imagine noticing you don't want a drink, and feeling nothing but quiet gratitude — not white-knuckle effort.
Imagine enjoying evenings with your family, truly present and relaxed.
Imagine not needing life to be perfect... yet feeling inner peace anyway.
Imagine connected relationships where you feel fully yourself, not needing to bend or conform to be accepted.
Imagine joy that doesn't depend on escape, but overflows from being fully nourished within.
That's what Momentum is building toward. Moving through the in-between, into the woman God's been shaping you to become all along.
Not just staying alcohol-free. Becoming fully, comfortably yourself.
